- Medical and professional facilities — hospitals, clinics, and professional office complexes
- Auto dealerships — vehicle lot landscape borders, service lane plantings, showroom exteriors
Commercial Irrigation Design Differences
Commercial irrigation differs from residential in several critical ways that require professional engineering:
- Larger pipe sizing — Commercial systems use 1.5", 2", and larger mainlines to handle higher flow rates without excessive pressure loss
- Booster and pump systems — Large properties may require booster pumps to maintain pressure at remote zones, or lake/retention pond pump systems to reduce utility costs
- Multi-controller systems — Properties with more zones than a single controller can manage use satellite controllers linked to a central management system
- Commercial-grade equipment — Rain Bird commercial rotors (5000 Plus, 8005), commercial valve banks, and professional controllers rated for 24/7 operation
- Permit coordination — Most commercial irrigation projects require permits. We handle the application, plans, and inspections.
Hydraulic Engineering for Large Properties
Commercial irrigation design requires actual hydraulic calculations — not guesswork. We calculate available flow at the meter, pressure loss through mainlines, required flow per zone, and design zone groupings that stay within the system's capacity. This prevents the most common commercial irrigation failure: simultaneous zones that starve each other of pressure.
Commercial Maintenance Contracts
We offer commercial maintenance agreements that include quarterly and bi-annual system inspections, head adjustments, seasonal controller reprogramming, and priority scheduling for emergency repairs. Maintenance contracts are structured to fit HOA or corporate billing cycles and include full documentation of all work performed.
Working with Property Managers & HOA Boards
We provide written proposals with line-item detail, schedule coordination with property management, photographic documentation of all work, and billing that works with HOA accounting processes. References from current commercial clients are available on request.
