Landscape Design Styles We Specialize In

Tropical Resort Style

The quintessential South Florida look. Tall Sabal and Royal palms framing the entry, Bismarckia palms as specimen anchors, Birds of Paradise in mass plantings, Heliconia and Ginger for tropical color, and Clusia or Cocoplum hedges for privacy. This style maximizes the lush, exotic feel that makes South Florida landscaping distinctive.

Modern Minimalist

Clean lines, bold plant masses, and deliberate negative space. Typically features large concrete pavers, ornamental grasses like Muhly Grass and Fakahatchee, architectural succulents like Agave and Aloe, and a restrained palette of 3–5 plant species. Low-maintenance and visually striking.

Mediterranean / Spanish Colonial

Terracotta tones, bougainvillea cascades, Italian Cypress columns, Sago palms, and formal hedge lines in Podocarpus or Viburnum. Works beautifully with tile-roofed homes common throughout Coral Springs, Weston, and Boca Raton.

Native Florida Landscape

Water-wise and wildlife-friendly. Features Coontie, Muhly Grass, Saw Palmetto, Firebush, Simpson's Stopper, Wild Tamarind, and Live Oak. Significantly reduces irrigation needs and supports local wildlife.

Our Design & Installation Process

  1. Consultation — We visit your property, discuss goals, style preferences, maintenance appetite, and budget. We photograph existing conditions and note sun patterns, drainage, and irrigation coverage.
  2. Design proposal — We prepare a plant list, layout description, and installation scope. Larger projects include a formal landscape plan with planting locations.
  3. Material sourcing — We source plants from licensed Florida nurseries, selecting healthy specimens sized to make immediate visual impact.
  4. Site preparation — Existing vegetation removal, bed edging, grading, soil amendment, and weed barrier installation as specified.
  5. Installation — Trees and palms planted at correct depth with proper root preparation, shrubs and groundcover at specified spacing, mulch beds finished to uniform 3-inch depth.
  6. Irrigation integration — New planting areas are integrated into your existing irrigation system or fitted with new drip zones. Every new planting gets water on installation day.

Tree & Palm Installation

Trees and palms are the anchors of any South Florida landscape. We install everything from 25-gallon Live Oaks and Gumbo Limbos to large-caliper specimen trees and 25-foot Royal Palms. All trees are installed at proper depth, with correct backfill mix, and staked where required by size. We source from licensed Florida nurseries and provide a 30-day establishment warranty on all plant material.

Commercial Landscaping for HOAs & Property Managers

We provide commercial landscaping for HOA common areas, office parks, retail plazas, and medical facilities. We work directly with property managers and boards with documentation, phased installation, and billing that fits HOA cycles.

FAQ

Landscape Design & Installation Questions Answered

How much does landscape design cost in South Florida?
Residential projects range from $2,500 for a simple front yard refresh to $30,000+ for a full property redesign with specimen trees. We provide detailed written proposals after the site visit. Commercial projects are quoted based on scope and property size.
What plants perform best in Broward County?
Top performers include Bismarckia palms, Sabal palms, Live Oak, Gumbo Limbo, Bougainvillea, Ixora, Plumbago, Liriope, Cocoplum, Clusia, Podocarpus, Muhly Grass, Birds of Paradise, and Heliconia. We select plants based on your specific sun exposure, soil conditions, and maintenance preferences.
Do you work with HOA landscape requirements?
Yes. We work with HOA property managers and boards on common area renovations, entry feature upgrades, and landscape refresh projects. We understand HOA timelines, documentation requirements, and the coordination involved in multi-property projects.
Will new landscaping affect my irrigation system?
New planting areas require irrigation coverage. We always evaluate your existing system against new plantings and add drip zones or adjust spray coverage as needed. This is included in all landscape proposals.
Do you plant specimen palms and large trees?
Yes. We install palms and trees of all sizes, from standard 25-gallon specimens to large-caliper trees and tall Royal Palms. All tree work includes proper depth, backfill, and staking as required. We source only from licensed Florida nurseries.
